Where to Eat and Drink in Copenhagen

No trip to Copenhagen is complete without trying the food and drink. From traditional Danish dishes to international cuisine, there is something for everyone. And when it comes to drinks, the options are endless. Here are some of our favorites:

For breakfast, head to Granola which serves healthy and delicious options like acai bowls, smoothie bowls and sandwiches. If you're looking for a classic Danish breakfast, go to Fru Nelle which serves smørrebrød - a type of open-faced sandwich. We also fancy Europa in the middle of Højbro Plads, in the heart of Copenhagen.

For lunch, try Bæst which serves up some of the best burgers in town, or Mammen which has a great selection of salads. And if you're in the mood for pizza, Napoli is the place to go.

Restaurant Mother, Kødbyen, Copenhagen
Mother at Kødbyen

In the evening, make sure you check out Noma - voted the best restaurant in the world - or one of the other many amazing restaurants Copenhagen has to offer. In the area of Kødbyen (Meat City) you will find a lot of nice places to eat. Mother for nice pizzas and Warpigs for BBQ and brewery for instance. A few years ago we tried Krebsegaarden and Radio, two highly reccommended restaurants. And for drinks, head to either cocktail bar Ruby or speakeasy basement bar LAB.

We also have to mention Madklubben - gourmet for a nice price! They have several restaurants in Copenhagen, check out their website.
